Join us for this Beginning Meditation Workshop. The very basics will be covered. This includes relaxing the body, mindful noticing of the body, breath, sensation and thoughts, using breath to focus inward and simple mantra. No experience necessary. Bring a journal or notebook and wear comfortable clothes.
Matthew Ismail is a meditation teacher and life coach who trained in Inner Yoga with David Harshada Wagner. Matthew believes that classical meditation remains profoundly important in modern society, but it must be relevant to people with families, careers, and mortgages. Matthew has MA degrees in Middle Eastern History and European Intellectual History and published a biography of the Egyptologist E. A. Wallis Budge. He teaches meditation at The Yoga Place in Midland.
